ROCKET APPAREL IS READY!

The team's apparel store is now OPEN! Follow the lime green arrow below for the online store address. We ask all athletes to purchase the two t-shirts labeled with the red circle. Anyone can order the apparel and we love seeing Rocket apparel at our meets, so pass this along to your family and friends!

The store is open until August 16th, so get your orders in!

A big THANK YOU to our seniors for their creativity and initiative in getting the apparel going early this summer! 

Two weeks until . . .

2018 Neenah Rocket Girls Swimming & Diving season!

• The first of two code meetings offered, will be this Sunday (this is a change from the date announced at the spring meeting) at 6:00pm in Pickard Auditorium at the high school. 
• Paperwork in?? You can not practice with the team until your physical is turned into the school.
• The Speedo Fierce Flow has been selected as our team suit by the seniors. We will be placing the order the second day of practice, in order to get them in time for team pictures on Aug. 22nd.

• Anyone interested in running for captain will give a brief speech to the team at practice on Saturday, Aug. 11th and then the team will vote for captains that day. In order to run for captain, you must have completed two seasons with the Neenah Swimming and Diving teams.
• We will hand out equipment on Wednesday, Aug. 15th at practice. If you can't be at practice that day, please find a teammate to set aside a bag for you.
• Be ready for a great season!

One month (and two days) to go until the start of the 

2018 girls season! 

Here are a few reminders: 

• Physicals!!! - please make sure you have a current physical on file with the high school's activities office before the first day.  If you are not sure, please email Lisa Dohr at: ldohr@neenah.k12.wi.us
• Get in some time on a bike this summer in preparation for the team triathlon!
• Attend a code meeting at the high school with a parent, either July 29th or August 5th. Both meetings will begin at 6:00pm in Pickard.
• The first meet for the swimmers is 10 days after the first day of practice, so if you are not swimming on a club team right now, make sure you are swimming at least 2-4 times a week to be ready for the season!
• They have started work on our pool already! They are replacing the pool pack (not exactly sure what that is, something to do with the ventilation system) and will be working on it all of July, but they know the pool needs to be ready for the Rockets by August 7th!

Attend a Code meeting July 29 or August 5

Please see the below message from AD Josh Murnane regarding the upcoming code meetings:

The 2018-2019 school year is quickly approaching! This past school year, several committees have embarked on creating a Championship Culture here at Neenah High School.  Included in this Culture is a program from John Underwood called Life of an Athlete.  We have modified this into Life of a Rocket!  We are excited to align our programs and help our students to excel on and off the fields and performance stages this year.  We fully believe that Life of a Rocket will help our students to become their very best on the fields and in the classrooms.  Parents we ask that you attend our annual Code meeting with your child on either July 29th (9th and 10th grade) or August 5th (11th and 12th).   If you cannot make your grades date please attend the other session, likewise if you have multiple children attend one meeting with them. This meeting will take approximately an hour.  We will be covering Life of a Rocket, as well as how the activities code is woven into Life of a Rocket.  There will not be a recording of the presentation.  If students are unable to make either session they will need to work with their activities director to get the code covered.
