MEET DAY!

It was a busy and fun Homecoming week! Now on to October!

The rain held off during the parade on Friday and our divers had awesome performances at the Appleton West Dive Invite!

Tuesday's dual is NHS ROCKETS vs. Appleton North! 

Diving will compete at Appleton West HS at 4:15!

Swimming will compete at Appleton North HS at 5:30!

Weekend Activities

Today is the Homecoming Parade for the swimmers and Meet Day for the divers!

Shout out to Dana Dungan and Sandi Johnson for volunteering their time and talents to create the window decorations for the team! 

Here's some of the weekend details:

• GOOD LUCK to our divers who will be competing in the Appleton Dive Invite at 5:30 at Appleton West
• Swimmers will practice from 10am - 11:45am
• Brunch and Homecoming decorating to follow practice at Eisele's home! 
• Swimmers meet at 4:15 at the outdoor Pool parking lot (S. Park Ave.) and the parade starts at 5:00!
• Look for us in our parkas around the middle of the parade!
• Swimmers on deck at 7:00am with warm-ups starting at 7:30am on Saturday! Meet starts at 9:00am!

The weather today is a flashback to the day of our triathlon! Thank you for the incredible help we had from our parents and volunteers who stood out in the rain on the bike route and track to help our Rocket athletes!! 

At our dual meet on Tuesday we would like to recognize our parents for all you do for your daughter and the Rocket team! 

THANK YOU for making a positive impact on the team with your support, kindness and generosity!!

• Please be at the pool by 5:15 on Tuesday and gather near the north end of the bleachers.  We will start announcing the parents at 5:20, starting with the Freshmen class.  Your daughter will greet you and walk with you to stand around the pool, prior to the National Anthem.  

Since this is our first home meet, here are a few of our team expectations during a meet:

• No athletes in the bleachers - they should be in the team area on west side of pool
• Parents please stay on the bleacher side of the yellow rope, as the other side is for athletes, coaches and meet workers.
• There is NO cell phone use by athletes - so please don't expect updates or communication from them until after the meet.
• Athletes are expected to stay until the end of the meet to support their teammates and help with the meet clean-up. 
• Have FUN and cheer on our ROCKET TEAM!

It will be a busy week for us filled with lots of Homecoming activities. We look forward to starting the fun on Tuesday at home! See you there!

First Dual Meet of the Season!

The Rockets kick off our dual meets on Tuesday against Oshkosh North!

• The diving event will take place at Oshkosh North High School starting at 4:15.
• Swimming will start at 6:00pm at the 20th Ave. Oshkosh YMCA.
• Oshkosh charges admission to their home meets.  It is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Way to go Rockets!

The divers finished 1st-2nd-3rd in the diving event at the Ashwaubenon Invite and Av set a new pool record there!!

Swimmers had excellent swims and finished 2nd at the Terror Relays!

THANKS to Bernhardts for hosting a tie-blanket party in August.  There were blankets all over the house!

THANKS to the Starr Family!! We had a great time relaxing and enjoying some much appreciated brunch food after practice!

CONGRATULATIONS to Bella Mullally!!

She is a National Merit Semi-finalist!! We are so proud of her!

Back to School!

The first week of school wrapped up with our divers competing in their first meet of the season!

Abbi finished first and Bailey was second at the New Berlin Diving Invite!
