See you on Tuesday!

Only 4 days until we jump into the 2016 Rocket Girls' season!
Are you ready for Tuesday, August 9th?
  • Practice starts at 8:00-9:15am on August 9th, with a team meeting for all Rocket swimmers and divers in the pool lobby!
  • Then it's into the water for the swimmers from 9:30-11:00am
  • You MUST have a current physical on file with the school before you can do any physical activities with the team!
  • Once you arrive at the pool on Tuesday, check in with the coaches to get your lock before going into the locker room.
  • We will start our dryland activities on Wednesday, so have your workout clothes and shoes with you then!
  • Mark your calendars - Meet the 2016 Rockets and informational parent meeting at 6pm  on Thursday, Aug. 11th, in the pool parking lot area for all athletes and their families.  We do have a potluck dinner prior to the meeting, so we ask you to bring a dish to pass and a lawn chair. Lots of important info and fees collected at meeting.
  • Plan to attend a NHS code meeting - the first one is this Sunday, Aug. 7th at 6:30pm in Pickard Auditorium. You will need to attend a meeting with a parent and then sign a form after the presentation.  Another code meeting is offered Sunday, Aug. 14th at 6:30.
We are excited for the 2016 season and look forward to seeing you on Tuesday! Go Rockets!

Great News on Paperwork!

The district now offers parents the option of completing the athletic paperwork online through the Infinite Campus portal! You should be receiving a mailing on Aug. 1st, of the instructions pertaining to this new feature, from the district.
You will still need to turn in a paper copy of the PHYSICAL form, when it is due.
If you have already turned in your paperwork, that's GREAT! The athletic office will still accept paper copies of all forms this year, but will be phasing it out in the future.

NEW STARTING BLOCKS

These bold red starting blocks are an exciting new addition to our pool! They were purchased through the generous donations from supporters of NHS Swimming & Diving teams and were installed just days before the 2016 WIAA Boys Sectional meet.

We feel very fortunate to be able to use them as a regular part of our practices and meets.  Looking forward to having the girls team enjoy them for the 2016 season, which starts on August 9th!

Thanks to everyone for your support of the Rockets!  Neenah with Pride!
