Happy Thanksgiving

 We are thankful for all the activities, achievements and fun had during the Fall 2021 Girls' Swimming & Diving season! We enjoyed celebrating the Rockets at the banquet on Monday night!

The Rockets Boys' Swim & Dive team is off to a great start!  We are already in the second week of the season, with 48 boys working hard. We look forward to an exciting season with the first meet on Dec. 3rd & 4th!

Rockets at the WIAA State Meet

Wow how time flies! The blog goes from our Car Wash to State!  A lot of fun times were had in between, that we'll have to post later too!

Kacie, Rylie, Emma, Alliyah, Coach Raeth, Naomi, Abbi, Hannah, Coach Foulks leave for STATE!

Abbi got the meet started for us with the diving event!

Abbi had a GREAT senior season and finished with a 4th place finish at State! Way to go, Abbi!

It was also the last meet for Coach Foulks as he is retiring after 25 years of coaching the Rockets and 51 years total coaching!  

THANK YOU, Coachie! You have had a positive influence on so many lives! We will miss you!!

Getting Ready for the Start of the 2021 Season

Here are a few reminders as we get ready to start on Aug. 10th!

• Each Athlete with a Parent/Guardian must attend ONE of the two Activities (Code) Meetings.  The first one is this Sunday, August 8th at 6:00 in Pickard OR you can attend Sunday, August 15th at 6:00 in Pickard
• Our team store is open! Order your attire now.  Team members are asked to get the team design in the white t-shirt OR long-sleeve hooded tee.  The Meet Day shirt is optional.
• Have you paid your $50 Activities Fee? This may have been paid when you registered or can be paid at the main office.
• Is your physical and other paperwork in?? If you are not sure, please email Mrs. Hella in the Activities Office at: paula.hella@neenah.k12.wi.us 
• Hit the pool for some laps prior to August 10th, so you are ready for our first meet on Aug. 20th.
• Check the updated practice and meet calendars on the blog.
• Be ready to soar into a fun season! See you soon Rockets!

Our Season Starts in Three Weeks!

 We hope everyone is enjoying some fun summer activities!

It is three weeks until the first day of practice for the Rockets, so grab a teammate and hit the pools to be ready for the 2021 season!

Here's a few announcements:

• Volunteer Opportunity on Saturday, August 7th.  Each season we do a community service event.  This year we have a chance to help with the first annual Kids' Triathlon at the Outdoor Neenah Pool.  It starts at 8am, so you will need to report to the pool before then.  More information to come as date gets closer!

• Activities Meeting (formerly know as the Code Meeting) - Each athlete and one Parent/Guardian must attend one of the following Meetings: Sunday, August 8th OR Sunday, August 15th at 6:00 PM in Pickard Auditorium.
• The date for the DC Everest meet was changed to Tuesday, Aug. 24th.
• Make sure you have a current physical on file with the school prior to Aug. 10th.
• First day of practice is Aug. 10th. Team meeting from 8-9:15am! Swimmers will then get in the water from 9:30-11am.

We're excited to have Abby Poliak join the Rocket coaching staff!  

She is a Rocket alumni and will be teaching Health at NHS!
