NHS Swim Camp!

In June, NHS coaches and a whole big bunch of fabulous swimmers hosted a four day camp for kids in 1st through 8th grade.  The camp was a huge success--the kids had lots of fun and worked really hard, both on the water and during dryland.  Campers were introduced to all four strokes during the week.
Our hope is that these kids return year after year, and then end up as NHS swimmers.
NHS swimmers demonstrated stroke technique and coached their own lanes in the pool.
Coach Raeth introduced each day's stroke and showed video clips.
On the last day, we held a mini-meet and played water polo.  I'm pretty sure the NHS swimmers had more fun during the water polo match than the campers.

Coach Raeth and I would like to say a big thank you to all of the NHS swimmers and divers who helped make our first camp such a success!  Thanks for donating your time and positive energy to the week.  You guys were awesome!
