Looking forward to seeing Rocket fans in the stands as we compete in the WIAA State Meet on Saturday!

The swimming events start at 3:00 and the stands fill up very quickly once diving is complete. We are asking that all Rocket fans sit together to make a "cheering section." Please look for Kari Resch in the stands and you can get a Rocket Rally Towel from her.

SECTIONAL CHAMPS

The 2015 Rockets showed a lot of HEART and TEAM SPIRIT in taking home the Sectional title! What a fun day! Thank you to all the team members and parents who were there yesterday to cheer and help assist in running the meet.

Our divers have been working hard and they are having an excellent season!

Lydia took 2nd place this past Friday at the Oshkosh West Spirit Invite!

Come out and show your support for our divers this Saturday at the Neenah Dive Invite. There will be over 30 divers there from all over the state and it starts at 10:00!  Good Luck Lydia, Taylor and Syd!

Saturday's Activities

Thank you to ALL the parents and family members who volunteered at our Neenah Invite!! We could not have run that meet without you!! 

• Our concession crew, led by Karen Marquardt, were there bright and early and serving with a smile! 
• The timers were attentive and awesome! 
• The meet management team of: Darin Krause, Ted Storin, Tim Stingle had all the electronics, for a meet with over 240 athletes participating, running smoothly! 
• Karen Martis, with the help of our fantastic manager, Elice, handled the awards distribution like a pro! 
• All of the parents who stayed and helped with our pool clean-up, we can't thank you enough!! 

Thank you parents, for the encouragement and support that you give to your daughters throughout the season and for taking an active role in helping to run the meets that we host! You're the best!!

Saturday's Team Dinner

Here's a picture from our team dinner after the meet! The event was planned and organized by our team captains! Thank you to Ali Stingle, who trusted her phone with some man from a boat, so that we could get this great picture! It was fun for everyone to get dressed up and go out to dinner together after spending a day in the water. It has been a GREAT September for the Rocket swimmers and divers! Now on to Homecoming week!

Terror Relay Champions!  

Friday's meet was very exciting and loud with LOTS of cheering! The Rockets won 7 of the 11 relays and were 2nd in 2 other relays.  It was a great team effort! Thanks to all you came to support their teammates!

Panther Relay Champions

We kicked off the season in Stevens Point at the Panther Relay meet.  We scored 132 points and Stevens Point was 2nd with 90 points.  Here is a picture of our seniors as they received the meet plaque for our team.

Relay Meet Info and Triathlon Pictures

It's Relay Time!

We kick off the season tomorrow at the Panther Relay Meet 

in Stevens Point! GO ROCKETS!

• The bus leaves NHS at 11:45 and should return around 8:30
• We will stop for dinner on the way home, so bring money or pack some food.
• You don't need to have a poster for your swim sister for away meets, but be ready to cheer for her at the meet!

Meet Starts at 3:00 for all parents and spectators.  We hope to see you Rocket fans in the stands!

Rocket Camp and Great America!

A huge Thank You goes out to all the Rocket swimmers who helped this summer at the Rocket Swim Camp in June!! We had over 60 young campers from our community attend camp and our NHS swimmers did an excellent job of inspiring and helping them throughout the week! Their involvement with the campers helped make it a fun and memorable experience for all!

Upcoming Events

We hope that everyone had a nice Spring Break! 

Here are a few dates of upcoming team events:

April 29th - Meeting at Shattuck for any 8th graders interested in joining the team next season.  We are going to try something different this year and do a lunch meeting.  This is a 9th and 10th grade testing day at NHS and juniors don't have to be to school until noon. More information to come to the juniors about this meeting.

May 28th - Spring informational meeting, for athletes and parents, at 6:00pm in the pool lobby at NHS.  This is a brief meeting where calendars and forms are handed out for the upcoming girls season.  

June 8th-11th - Rocket Swim Camp for kids entering 1st-8th grade - we will be looking for current Rocket swimmers and divers to help again at this year's camp. 

June 16th - NHS Swim Team trip to Great America and Hurricane Harbor.  This is open to any boy or girl Rocket swim team member and any future freshmen team members.  The cost for the admission ticket and bus ride tends to be around $40.

August 11th - First day of the Girls' 2015 season!
