How fun was this year's FVA Conference Championship Meet?!? Our NHS swimmers and divers swam and dove their way to a 7th straight FVA Conference Championship!
Hazel and Caitlin started the meet off in the best possible way, finishing first and second, respectively. Hazel scored 601.80 points and set a new pool, team, and Conference Meet record! Caitlin scored 409.35 points. Way to go, ladies!
And then today our swimmers finished off the meet with multiple wins. Are you ready for some results? Here they are:
Our 200 MR, (Kiki Rice, Abby Hollub, Rachel Resch, Malena Waters) went 1:50.14 and set a new meet record. Our 200 MR B relay (Lindsey Coons, Hannah Blob, Cece Krause, and Gabby Mullally) came in 3rd with a 1:56.16.
Rachel Resch took 2nd in the 200 Free with a time of 1:57.64. Bella Cortina came in 4th with a time of 2:03.69. Emily Salm finished 9th with a time of 2:09.05.
Kiki Rice won the 200 IM with a time of 2:11.93. Abby Hollub came in 3rd with a time of 2:15.50. Hannah Sisto took 4th with a time of 2:15.81.
Malena Waters finished 2nd in the 50 free with a time of 25.50. Gabby Mullally finished 3rd with a time of 25.51.
Rachel Resch won the 100 fly with a time of 59.90. Hannah Sisto came in 2nd with a time of 1:00.34. Kayla Conn took 6th with a time of 1:04.07. Cece Krause took 7th with a time of 1:04.42. Karla Rodriguez took 9th with a time of 1:04.82.
Gabby Mullally took 2nd place in the 100 free with a time of 55.95. Malena Waters came in 4th with a time of 57.16. Aliya Clark tied for 6th with a time of 57.53.
Kiki Rice won the 500 free with a time of 5:16.53. Bella Cortina took 4th with a time of 5:34.89. Morgan Marquardt came in 8th with a time of 5:46.14. Ashley Hermans came in 12th with a time of 5:52.66.
Our 200 FR (Gabby Mullally, Hannah Sisto, Bella Cortina, Malena Waters) took first with a time of 1:42.93, and our B relay (Lindsey Coons, Aliya Clark, Lauren Penn, Cece Krause) took 6th with a time of 1:46.91.
Lindsey Coons came in 3rd place in the 100 back with a time of 1:03.15. Lauren Penn took 10th with a time of 1:08.27.
Abby Hollub won the 100 breast with a time of 1:10.33. Aliya Clark came in 6th with a time of 1:13.35. Hannah Blob came in 7th with a time of 1:13.66.
Our 400 FR (Rachel Resch, Kiki Rice, Hannah Sisto, Abby Hollub) finished 2nd with a time of 3:38.28. Our B relay (Bella Cortina, Cece Krause, Lindsey Coons, Aliya Clark) finished 3rd with a time of 3:51.93.
Each and every girl contributed to our dominating win! We ended up with 600.5 points. Appleton North came in 2nd with 354 points. Appleton East took 3rd with 277 points.
And let's not forget the tremendous job our JV did at Monday night's JV Conference meet! Neenah swimmers won every single event on Monday night!
Way to go, Neenah Swimmers and Divers! We are so proud of each and every one of you!! On to Sectionals!!
